Lead Databricks Developer
Location: Remote – But local to TX
Job Description:
We’re looking for a hands-on Lead Databricks Developer to design and scale modern data platforms using Spark and Lakehouse architecture.
What You’ll Do
- Lead development on Databricks (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark & Spark SQL
- Design scalable Delta Lake / Lakehouse solutions
- Drive performance tuning, data quality & governance
- Mentor engineers and own end-to-end technical delivery
What You Bring
- 7+ years in Data Engineering
- 3+ years strong hands-on experience with Databricks & Spark
- Expert in Python & SQL
- Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of data modeling & distributed processing
Bonus: Streaming (Kafka), ML pipelines, or Unity Catalog experience.
