Join a Leading LNG Facility as a Piping & Static Equipment Engineer III
Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for ensuring the safety and reliability of large-scale industrial facilities? We are seeking a skilled Piping & Static Equipment Engineer III to play a vital role at a prominent LNG operation in Sabine Pass, TX. This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to critical infrastructure projects, supporting safe and efficient plant operations in a dynamic environment.
In this role, you will provide expert technical support for piping systems, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and fixed equipment. Your engineering expertise will help optimize equipment integrity, troubleshoot complex issues, and support maintenance and project execution activities. You'll work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Integrity, and external contractors, acting as a key resource to enhance plant safety, reliability, and operability.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Proven experience with LNG facilities or large plant facilities, particularly in process and static equipment
- Operations background within industrial or petrochemical settings
- Strong knowledge of piping systems, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and associated equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot, evaluate, and support maintenance and integrity activities
- Excellent collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and with external partners
- Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and concentration on surge support projects
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Management of Change (MOC) processes
- Prior experience working onsite at large-scale LNG or similar facilities
- Certification in engineering or safety standards related to static equipment
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience in LNG or large industrial plants
- Prior experience supporting operations and maintenance teams in fast-paced environments
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule (8-10 days per occurrence)
- Ability to work on-site in Sabine Pass, TX; remote candidates may be considered for exceptional experience
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Immediate availability for virtual interviews with a prompt decision timeline
This is a surge support opportunity expected to last 1-3 years, with competitive hourly compensation ranging from $80-95/hour. Per diem available for strong non-local candidates. Work predominantly Monday through Friday, with additional flexibility as needed.
