Description
We are looking for an Art Director to join a SAAS/AI company on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a highly conceptual creative leader who can translate complex operational and business ideas into compelling visual narratives. The position blends strategic thinking with hands-on design execution, shaping clear, effective materials that communicate sophisticated information with impact.
Responsibilities:
Transform abstract business, operational, and product concepts into strong visual stories that are clear, engaging, and aligned with brand goals.
Lead the creative direction for presentations, campaign assets, and design materials that explain complex topics to a range of audiences.
Develop effective visual solutions by combining strategic insight with hands-on execution across digital and print-ready formats.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to turn technical or high-level ideas into accessible, visually compelling communications.
Create layouts, illustrations, and design systems that organize detailed information in a way that is intuitive and visually effective.
Guide the conceptual development of creative work from early idea generation through final production and refinement.
Contribute copy direction and messaging alignment to ensure visuals and written content work together cohesively.
Use Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Adobe Illustrator, to produce high-quality creative assets with strong attention to detail.
Requirements
Proven experience in a senior design or art direction role with a strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and visual storytelling.
Ability to communicate complex information through clear, strategic, and aesthetically strong design solutions.
Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Illustrator.
Hands-on graphic design expertise with the ability to move from concept development to final execution.
Experience collaborating with stakeholders to shape creative work around business and product objectives.
Strong art direction skills paired with an understanding of copy and message development.
Background creating materials for technical or highly strategic environments is preferred.
