Oracle Data Analyst (Exadata)

Location: Downtown Dallas, TX (Onsite)
Contract: 6+ months

Summary:
Seeking an experienced Oracle Data Analyst with strong expertise in Oracle Exadata, SQL, and data analysis across OLTP, Data Warehouse, and Big Data environments. This role supports data anomaly investigation, validation, documentation, and data governance/MDM initiatives. Candidate will collaborate with ETL, DBA, Replication, and Business teams to troubleshoot data issues and maintain data accuracy and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

Investigate and analyze data anomalies across multiple environments
Collaborate with ETL, Replication, and DBA teams to document data transformations and data movement
Support break/fix issues and production data validations
Assist with configuring Data Virtualization and Master Data Management (MDM) tools
Maintain up-to-date documentation: data standards, lineage, dictionaries
Analyze data from various sources to identify patterns and trends
Work in a fast-paced Agile environment with cross-functional teams

Required Qualifications:

4+ years in Data Analyst roles
4+ years working with Oracle Exadata
Strong SQL & complex query writing skills
Experience with OLTP, Data Warehouse, Big Data platforms
Understanding of ETL, OLAP, API data movement best practices
Strong communication & teamwork skills
Experience with stored procedures is a plus
Bonus skills: Denodo, MDM, Hadoop, MongoDB, Postgres, Cloud
