Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Jira Cloud Engineer to serve as the technical lead for an enterprise Jira environment. This role focuses on Jira administration, systems integration, migration, automation, and Agile/DevSecOps enablement. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience integrating Jira with GitLab and ServiceNow, migrating from Azure DevOps or other legacy platforms, and developing API-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Jira Cloud administration, configuration, workflow design, permissions, screens, and Agile project setup.
• Integrate Jira with GitLab, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, and other enterprise platforms.
• Develop and maintain REST API, webhook, and scripting-based integrations.
• Support migration of project planning and Agile teams from Azure DevOps and legacy platforms to Jira Cloud.
• Perform data mapping, migration planning, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Automate administrative and DevOps processes using Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
• Partner with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and technical teams to configure Jira for Scrum/SAFe practices.
• Support secure cloud environments and compliance requirements, including FedRAMP/FISMA where applicable.

Required Skills:
• 3+ years of hands-on Jira Administration/Engineering experience.
• Strong Jira Cloud/Atlassian platform expertise.
• Experience with complex workflows, permission schemes, screens, custom fields, and Agile configurations.
• Strong REST API and webhook integration experience.
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on integration experience with GitLab and ServiceNow.
• Experience migrating from Azure DevOps/TFS or other legacy ALM platforms to Jira.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and DevSecOps environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, systems integration, and automation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Federal Government, Defense, Banking/Financial Services, or Healthcare environments.
• Experience with Atlassian Government Cloud (AGC), FedRAMP, or FISMA environments.
• Atlassian certifications such as ACP-120/ACP-620 are a plus.
• Experience working with restricted/secure SaaS environments.
