Sr. Java Developer || O’FALLON, MO (Onsite)

 

Design and develop technical solutions aligned with Mastercard standards and best practices.
Lead and participate in system development and maintenance to meet SLAs with innovative, high-quality, and timely solutions.
Own the full SDLC: requirements, design, testing strategy, performance benchmarks, deployment, and contingency planning.
Manage production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
Evaluate and adopt appropriate technical frameworks and methodologies.
Research emerging technologies and lead PoCs and vendor evaluations.
Collaborate with vendors and ensure knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Conduct training sessions and promote continuous learning.
Enforce QA/QC processes, conduct reviews (requirements, design, code, security), and ensure test coverage.
Coordinate offshore development and manage daily activities.
Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory.

 

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
8+ years of experience in software development.
Strong in Java backend development, RESTful APIs, Spring MVC, Spring Boot , Oracle SQL, JUnit, and Git.
Solid understanding of software engineering principles.
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

 

Experience in secure solutions for Financial Services.
Familiarity with PCF, Spring Cloud, Jersey (JAX-RS), J2EE design patterns, Apache Camel, Maven, and Active MQ, Splunk, Dynatrace, Testing experience as well (at least some automation testing experience), Jenkins.
