EDUCATION/TRAINING Graduation from high school or equivalent. Completion of a bona fide apprenticeship program as a Transit Light Rail Repairer (Mechanics CURRENTLY classified as Transit Light Rail Journeyists or Journeyist Electromechanic are eligible).
EXPERIENCE - Successfully pass standardized tests administered by the Authority.
- Successfully pass a mechanical and electrical aptitude test administered by the Authority.
- Must have own tools.
- Able to pass DOT physical.
- Must have and maintain a valid Utah driver's Class 'D' license.
- Must be a safe driver with no more than four (4) moving violations in the last (3) years.
- Cannot have more than 1 violation of driving under the influence of alcohol, any drug, or the combined influence of any alcohol or any drug within the last 10 years.
- Must be or be able to become Forklift Certified.
- Must be or be able to become roadway worker protection certified.
