Job Details
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong MEP experience to lead electrical system design efforts and mentor junior team members. This individual will play a key role in delivering high-quality construction documents and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
Work Arrangement
Onsite only at the Orlando office (remote work is not available for this role)
Key Responsibilities
Lead electrical design for commercial, multifamily, healthcare, municipal, and specialty projects
Develop power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage system designs
Prepare and review construction drawings, specifications, and calculations
Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams
Support construction administration activities, including site visits and responding to RFIs
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and industry standards
Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in MEP electrical design
Strong background in commercial and multifamily projects
Proficiency in industry-standard design software
Solid understanding of NEC and applicable building codes
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but NOT required
