Role : Technical Business Analyst

Role Overview
STAFFXPERT are seeking a Senior Technical Business Relationship Manager / IT Business Analyst to support Commercial Finance and Revenue Management technology initiatives. This role will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping translate complex business requirements into scalable system solutions across commercial platforms and reporting environments.
The ideal candidate will have strong Business Analyst experience, hands-on SQL expertise, SDLC knowledge, stakeholder management skills, and experience supporting commercial or finance-related applications in enterprise environments. Pharma/Life Sciences industry experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business and finance stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and cross-functional discussions with technical and non-technical teams.
- Communicate project impacts, risks, dependencies, and solution recommendations effectively.
Project Coordination & SDLC Support
- Support end-to-end SDLC activities including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Coordinate project milestones, status tracking, and dependency management across multiple teams.
- Work within Agile and Waterfall delivery models to ensure timely project execution.
- Ensure compliance with organizational change management and documentation standards.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Perform hands-on SQL querying, data validation, and issue investigation across relational databases.
- Analyze data discrepancies and provide actionable business insights.
- Support reporting and analytics initiatives using tools such as Power BI, QlikView, or Cognos.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Create and maintain functional specifications, process flows, user stories, data dictionaries, and knowledge base documentation.
- Develop business process documentation and solution design artifacts.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and operational improvements.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Plan and coordinate SIT and UAT testing activities.
- Validate system enhancements and ensure solutions meet business acceptance criteria.
- Support issue resolution and defect tracking during testing and deployment phases.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Business Relationship Manager.
- Strong hands-on SQL experience for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience working across full SDLC environments including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow for change management, incident management, or ITSM workflows.
- Strong documentation skills with ability to create detailed business and technical artifacts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Revenue Management, Gross-to-Net, Rebates, Pricing, or Commercial Finance systems.
- Familiarity with platforms such as:

- Experience with reporting and analytics tools:
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, cloud-based data platforms, or data lake environments.
- Experience with Kneat SLC or equivalent compliance/documentation systems.
