Location: Columbia, SC
Duration: One Year Contract with possibility of extensions

Job Summary

IRG Clients is seeking an experienced and PMP-certified Project Manager to lead and coordinate multiple IT projects involving infrastructure, cloud technologies, information security, and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to successfully deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple IT projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate activities among technical teams, stakeholders, vendors, and business users.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Facilitate meetings, status updates, and project communications with stakeholders.
• Manage change requests, project documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Track project costs, resource utilization, risks, issues, and overall project health.
• Prepare and present project status reports, metrics, and financial updates to leadership.
• Support IT strategic planning and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, policies, and best practices.

Required Skills:

• 3+ Years of Experience in developing and maintaining documentation for core project collateral, training, policies, procedures, and best practices
• 3+ Years of Project Management Experience with infrastructure, network, or applications projects
• 3+ Years of Experience with Full Life Cycle Change Management
• 3+ Years of Experience with PCI, PUB1075, and/or NIST Standards.
• Active PMP Certificate

Preferred Skills:

• Experience as a project manager in Government IT projects
• Knowledge of Microsoft products- Windows, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, MS Office, Office 365, Visio
• Business/Quality Analyst experience
• Vendor management skills
• Metrics analysis and reporting
• Information Security Project experience       .
