SCCM Engineer (Hybrid in Columbia, SC ) Local only W2 role

Description:

Function as the liaison for the application and business teams aligning our services to business needs.
Advanced Technical Contributions

• SCCM Imaging & Provisioning: Deliver complex imaging solutions for legacy platforms outside Intune, ensuring operational continuity.
• SCCM Environment Optimization: Proactively cleaned and aligned collections, improving system performance and manageability.
• Windows 11 Upgrade Project (SUMIO): Built out new Windows 11 virtual desktops, enabling smooth transition to modern platforms.
• Vulnerability Remediation: Triaged and remediated vulnerabilities across multiple systems, strengthening security posture.
• Work with TA s on Win2012 upgrades (28 machines)

Process Development & Knowledge Management

• Author comprehensive documentation for SCCM provisioning, template deployment, and Dameware connectivity, creating repeatable processes and reducing onboarding time.
• Establish a knowledge base that supports team learning and ensures long term sustainability of certificate management practices.

Leadership & Mentorship

• Provide guidance on group policy management approach to Eli as a mentorship and knowledge transfer.
• Facilitate cross?team collaboration with IT, infrastructure, and support teams, ensuring alignment and smooth operations.
• Acted as a trusted resource for critical issues, offering direction and resolution support.

Operational Excellence

• Perform elevation 3?way match checks across physical and virtual environments, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain ServiceNow queues with discipline, handling diverse incidents and requests while balancing workload across the team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing process enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.

Required Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, remote support tools, Microsoft Azure.
• Intermediate networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Extensive experience with SCCM and GPO configurations and deployments
• Experience with Data backups and recovery methods and tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and ticketing system in a global enterprise (eg. Servicenow, Jira).
• Virtual desktop deployments
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills

Preferred Technical requirements:

• Microsoft Azure virtual machine deployments
• Manufacturing systems experience
• PowerShell scripting
• IT Automation platforms
