Job Title: GRC Technical Project Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced GRC Technical Project Manager with a strong background in Cybersecurity and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing GRC initiatives, particularly in Manufacturing (OT) environments, and driving supplier security assessments and remediation programs. This role requires strong knowledge of ISO 27001 controls, IT security assessments, and the ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and business stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Lead and manage GRC and cybersecurity projects from initiation through delivery

·        Drive supplier security assessments, audits, and remediation programs

·        Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 standards and control frameworks

·        Oversee IT security assessment processes, including:

o    Security audits

o    Vulnerability assessments

o    Policy and standards reviews

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT, Security, and Business units

·        Track project progress, risks, and dependencies; provide regular status updates

·        Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and governance frameworks

·        Manage stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical audiences

·        Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with compliance requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

·        8+ years of experience in Project Management within GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)

·        Strong background in Cybersecurity

·        Mandatory experience in Manufacturing (OT) Cybersecurity environments

·        Proven experience managing supplier security assessments and remediation efforts

·        Deep understanding of ISO 27001 controls, annexures, and implementation strategies

·        Hands-on experience with:

o    IT security audits

o    Vulnerability scanning

o    Security policy and standards management

·        Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

·        Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

·        High attention to detail and strong customer service mindset
