Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Technician II for an Onsite position with a Global Pharmaceutical Company located in Athens, GA. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for performing activities associated with the preparation of vaccine components within an aseptic clean room environment. The ideal candidate will utilize virus and cell culture techniques according to USDA regulations and ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures.
Responsibilities: - Perform activities associated with the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment using virus and cell culture techniques
- Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures during the execution of processes
- Assist with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skills
- Complete and review in-process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner
- Maintain technical data and support documentation
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions
- Demonstrate a visible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs
- Participate and provide support to site projects and initiatives, including deviation and change control management
Requirements: - Rabies vaccine required
- Shift: 6:45am-5:15pm; overtime as needed, including weekend and holiday work
- Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Clean room and aseptic technique knowledge
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Basic math skills and equipment/automation troubleshooting skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrated ability to problem solve
Desired skills: Pay range: up to $20.00 per hour
