We are looking for Project Manager I for our client in Chattanooga, TN
Job Title: Project Manager I
Job Location: Chattanooga, TN
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
  • Responsible for managing end-to-end engineering projects including design, procurement, construction, installation, and qualification.
  • Ensures successful delivery of projects aligned with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards while supporting operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering such as Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, manufacturing, or process design.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Experience:

  • Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Experience in Food or Pharma manufacturing and regulatory standards preferred.
  • Experience with utilities such as chillers, boilers, and air compressors preferred.
  • Experience with technical documentation such as SOPs and work instructions.
  • Experience with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of project engineering including design, procurement, construction, and installation.
  • Plan and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Monitor and drive project performance metrics and key deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external resources to ensure project execution.
  • Develop cost estimates and conceptual designs for new products and processes.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment and processes.
  • Establish engineering standards and support global technical initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support environmental and sustainability initiatives across sites.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to team members.
  • Maintain clear communication across all levels of the organization.

Should Have:

  • Project Management Professional certification.
  • Professional Engineer certification.

  • Project management and execution.
  • Engineering design and process improvement.
  • Leadership and team collaboration.
  • Analytical thinking and decision making.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering.
