E-Discovery Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, collect, preserve, and manage electronic data relevant to legal cases and investigations.
• Perform forensic imaging of computers, storage devices, and other electronic media using industry-standard tools and techniques.
• Maintain data integrity and proper chain of custody throughout the eDiscovery process.
• Process, organize, and analyze large volumes of electronic data for efficient review and discovery.
• Use eDiscovery, document management, analytics, and electronic review platforms to search and identify relevant information.
• Support data collection from enterprise and cloud environments.
• Utilize SQL for querying, analyzing, and managing discovery-related data.
• Provide technical guidance and support to attorneys, legal teams, outside counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Document collection procedures, findings, workflows, and project activities.
• Ensure eDiscovery activities comply with applicable legal, privacy, confidentiality, and evidence-handling requirements.
• Manage multiple eDiscovery projects, timelines, priorities, and deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 3 6+ years of experience in eDiscovery, digital forensics, litigation support, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with electronic data collection and preservation.
• Strong experience with forensic imaging and digital evidence handling.
• Working knowledge of EDRM, chain of custody, legal holds, and data preservation.
• Proficiency with SQL and database/data analysis concepts.
• Experience with eDiscovery, document management, data analytics, or electronic review platforms.
• Understanding of legal requirements related to electronic evidence, admissibility, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with legal teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Computer Forensics.
• Experience with enterprise cloud forensics.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Google Workspace, or other cloud environments.
• eDiscovery or digital forensics certifications.
• Experience with platforms such as Relativity, RelativityOne, Nuix, Everlaw, Exterro, FTK, EnCase/OpenText Forensic, or Magnet AXIOM.
• Experience supporting litigation, investigations, regulatory matters, or legal discovery projects.
