Job Summary
Based at our Houston headquarters, this senior role sits at the intersection of product strategy, digital commerce, and international market development. You will own the eCommerce product roadmap for our UK, EU, and French markets partnering with engineering, design, marketing, and regional commercial teams to deliver localized, high-performing web experiences that serve both trade professionals (B2B) and end consumers (B2C).
France is a key growth market; deep familiarity with the French digital commerce landscape, customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and cultural nuances is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Own and prioritize the eCommerce product roadmap for UK, EU, and French markets across web and retail digital touchpoints
Lead end-to-end localization of the eCommerce platform for France, including French-language UX, pricing, payment methods, tax compliance (TVA), and regulatory requirements
Define, manage, and iterate on B2B and B2C customer journeys, ensuring seamless experiences for trade accounts and retail consumers alike
Partner with technology teams to configure, extend, and optimize eCommerce platforms (Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, or equivalent)
Collaborate with regional marketing, sales, and merchandising teams to execute localized promotions, product launches, and content strategies
Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams
Conduct competitive analysis and user research specific to the French and EU markets to inform product decisions
Monitor KPIs (conversion, AOV, retention, NPS) across regions and drive continuous improvement through A/B testing and data analysis
Serve as the primary cross-functional liaison between Houston HQ and European stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment
Stay current with EU eCommerce regulation (GDPR, DSA, accessibility directives) and manage compliance requirements within the product
Mentor junior product staff and contribute to building eCommerce product management best practices across the organization
Required Skills & Experience
eCommerce Platform Expertise
5+ years of product management experience within eCommerce, with a strong track record of launching and scaling digital commerce platforms
Hands-on experience with one or more enterprise eCommerce platforms: Adobe Commerce (Magento), Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Shopify Plus, or comparable solutions
Proven ability to manage complex platform configurations, integrations (ERP, PIM, OMS, CRM), and multi-site or multi-locale architectures
French Market & Localization Experience
Demonstrated experience delivering eCommerce products or platforms localized for France and French-speaking customers
Deep understanding of French B2B and B2C buyer behaviour, payment preferences (CB, Klarna, PayPal), and customer service expectations
Familiarity with French digital regulations: RGPD compliance, French consumer protection law, VAT/TVA handling, and EU accessibility requirements
Experience managing French-language content workflows, translation management systems, and SEO localization
Language & Communication
Fully bilingual in English and French written and spoken is a mandatory requirement for this role
Demonstrated ability to conduct stakeholder meetings, write product documentation, and represent the product in both languages
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical mindset with experience using data platforms (Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, Looker, or similar) to inform decisions
Experience with agile/scrum methodologies and product management tooling (Jira, Confluence, Aha!, Productboard, or similar)
Excellent stakeholder management skills comfortable presenting to senior leadership and managing relationships across time zones
Experience in luxury, premium lifestyle, home furnishings, or design-led brands is strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within the luxury home dcor, interior design, lighting, or premium lifestyle sector
Familiarity with trade and wholesale B2B portals, account-based pricing, and dealer/reseller management
Working knowledge of headless commerce, composable architecture (MACH), or PWA storefront technologies
Exposure to additional EU markets such as Germany, Benelux, or the Nordics
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, or a related field; MBA a plus
