Microsoft Dynamics 365 Architect

We are looking for a senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Architect to lead the design and delivery of Customer Engagement (CRM) implementation, migration, and upgrade projects, covering on-premise to cloud migrations, version upgrades, and competitor-to-Dynamics moves. As the senior-most member of an all-onsite team, this person will lead both the team and the overall project. The ideal candidate will own solution architecture and design authority, work directly with client stakeholders, and provide technical leadership to the delivery team.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture for Dynamics 365 CE implementation, migration, and upgrade projects.
• Lead the onsite team as design authority and final technical decision-maker, providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and functional consultants.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, best-practice Dynamics 365 designs.
• Lead configuration, customization, and integration design across the solution.
• Define data migration and integration approach, including APIs, Azure services, and Power Platform.
• Set standards for deployment, environment management, and ALM.
• Support estimation, proposals, and pre-sales discussions when required.
• Ensure solutions meet Microsoft best practices, governance, and security standards.
Required Skills and Experience
• 18+ years in IT, with 12+ years hands-on with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Deep expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service) and CRM customization.
• Strong Power Platform experience: Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI.
• Proven experience leading implementations, migrations (on-premise to cloud), upgrades, and integrations.
• Strong integration background: REST APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus.
• Solid grounding in solution deployment, environment management, and ALM (Azure DevOps).
• Experience with JavaScript, C#, .NET plugins, custom workflows, and business process flows.
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery.
• Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O) exposure.
• Certifications: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert, Dynamics 365 Sales / Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate, AZ-900.
• Exposure to Microsoft Copilot for Dynamics 365 and AI-powered capabilities.
• Experience with global delivery teams and regulated industry domains.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication.
• Consulting mindset with strong problem-solving.
• Able to work independently onsite and lead distributed teams.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.
