Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect - Migration

Location: Remote

Job Description:

These roles provide senior architecture and migration execution capacity under AWS direction. Responsible for designing and executing migrations for assigned workloads, building automation, and contributing to the team''s pattern library

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement target-state AWS architectures for assigned migration candidates
  • Execute workload migrations aligned to CGA-approved patterns
  • Build infrastructure-as-code templates for repeatable deployments
  • Conduct workload assessment and TCO analysis for migration candidates
  • Develop migration runbooks and execution documentation
  • Support post-migration validation and performance testing
  • Contribute to the reusable pattern library for future migration waves

 

Required Qualifications

  • AWS compute, networking, storage architecture
  • Application migration methodologies and tooling (MGN, DMS, SCT)
  • Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
  • Containerization and orchestration (EKS, ECS)
  • Linux/Windows server administration and migration
  • Workload assessment and right-sizing
  • Technical documentation
