We are seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with a foundational knowledge of Ruby on Rails and experience with Bootstrap UI framework, PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The role involves playing a crucial part in the initial development of our software product, as well as its ongoing maintenance and enhancement based on user feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
· Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment.
· Develop and maintain web applications utilizing Ruby on Rails, Bootstrap, PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Create responsive UIs that align with design specifications to enhance user experience.
· Support database design and management efforts to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
· Identify, debug, and resolve software issues.
· Keep abreast of new technologies and methodologies in web development.
· Suggest and implement improvements to enhance software performance and reliability.
· Manage maintenance tasks and efficiently address feature requests and updates.
· Complete other tasks as assigned by the Director of Technology/Supervisor
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Experience with the Bootstrap UI framework and knowledge of responsive design.
· Knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Effective communication and teamwork skills.
· Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
