HR Business Partner

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Bronx, NY that is seeking an HR Business Partner to support a large frontline workforce in a fast-paced operational environment. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, policy interpretation, and organizational initiatives. This role is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to partner closely with operations leaders while helping drive a positive employee experience across a large employee population.

Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with business leaders on employee relations matters, performance management, coaching, and policy interpretation
* Build strong relationships with managers and employees across operational functions
* Provide guidance and support on employee issues, investigations, corrective actions, and workplace concerns
* Support workforce planning and day-to-day people initiatives
* Collaborate with internal partners including Operations, Safety, and HR colleagues
* Assist with process improvement initiatives and organizational change efforts
* Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and employment practices
* Serve as a visible and approachable HR presence within the business

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of experience specifically as an HR Business Partner
* Strong employee relations experience, including investigations, manager coaching, and policy interpretation
* Experience supporting frontline and operational employee populations
* Demonstrated ability to build credibility and influence leaders at multiple levels
* Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where processes continue to evolve
* Ability to work onsite full-time

Preferred Qualifications:
* Bilingual English/Spanish
* Experience supporting unionized workforces
* Background in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, logistics, retail operations, hospitality, food production, or similar operational environments
* Experience driving process improvements and change initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
