Product Manager – Lending Domain

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager with strong Lending domain expertise to lead product strategy, roadmap planning, and execution for digital lending platforms. The ideal candidate should have deep business knowledge in retail/commercial lending and strong experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, risk, compliance, and operations.

Required Domain Experience

• Strong experience in Retail Lending / Commercial Lending

• Knowledge of:

  • Loan Origination Systems (LOS)

  • Loan Management / Servicing Systems

  • Underwriting processes

  • Credit risk assessment

  • Loan lifecycle management

• Experience in lending products such as:

  • Mortgage

  • Auto Loans

  • Personal Loans

  • Business Loans

  • HELOC

• Understanding of:

  • Credit Bureau integrations

  • KYC / AML regulations

  • Regulatory compliance (FDIC, OCC guidelines)

  • U.S. banking and lending regulations

Product Management Responsibilities

• Define and own product vision and roadmap for lending products

• Gather business requirements from stakeholders

• Translate business needs into clear product requirements and user stories

• Work closely with engineering teams during design and development

• Drive product releases and go-to-market strategy

• Analyze product performance and KPIs

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis

• Prioritize backlog based on business value and ROI

• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Sales teams

Required Skills

• 8+ years overall experience with 4+ years as Product Manager

• Strong background in Banking / Financial Services

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology

• Experience writing PRDs, BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria

• Strong stakeholder management skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or ProductBoard
