QA Automation Engineer

Position: QA Automation Engineer

Duration: 12 Months with Extension

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Complete Description

·        Create master test plans, define quality assurance parameters, and establish testing strategies aligned with project and business goals.

·        Develop and execute detailed manual and automated test scripts, test cases, and functional, regression, performance, and integration tests.

·        Build, maintain, and integrate automated test frameworks and scripts into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

·        Identify, log, track, and troubleshoot software defects using bug-tracking tools and perform root-cause analysis.

·        Work closely with software developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure smooth product releases.

·        Recommend standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards to improve team efficiency.

·        Performance Testing Tools – Hands-on experience (Required).

·        Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) – Experience verifying that all required components are fully tested and delivered (Required).

·        Root-Cause Analysis – Ability to identify and troubleshoot technical issues (Required).

·        Communication Skills – Ability to explain technical flaws to non-technical stakeholders (Required).

·        Certified Software Testing Professional (CSTE) – Certification required.

·        Education – 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study (Highly Desired).

·        Salesforce – Experience preferred (Highly Desired).

·        Azure DevOps – Experience preferred (Highly Desired).

·        Copado – Experience preferred (Highly Desired).

·        .NET – Experience preferred (Highly Desired).

·        Web UI Automation – Experience with Playwright (Highly Desired).

·        API & Contract Testing – Experience with Postman and SoapUI (Highly Desired).

·        Performance & Load Testing – Experience preferred (Highly Desired).
