We''re looking for a finance-literate SAP master data governance specialist to help stand up our corporate Finance MDG function ahead of our first S/4HANA go-live,

This is a hands-on enablement role. You''ll hit the ground running, absorb our S/4HANA design, and translate it into a practical, sustainable operating model for our internal team and partner

What you''ll do:

• Build the Finance Master Data Governance operating model — identify roles, approvals, SLAs, escalations and work with the BPO partner
• Refine our ServiceNow-based request intake for finance master data
• Own and enforce governance standards, policies, and procedures across core finance master data objects — GL accounts, cost/profit centers, internal orders, WBS/projects, financial and management reporting hierarchies, and mapping/reference tables (including legacy-to-S/4 mappings, alternate charts of accounts, and segment and business unit structures)
• Ensure master data is consistent, aligned, and reusable across entities and business units
• Create templates, SOPs, work instructions, and control checklists by object type
• Train corporate MDG and BPO teams so non-SAP specialists understand what "good" governance looks like
• Support cutover readiness, post-go-live hypercare, triage, and stabilization
• Establish data quality monitoring and continuous improvement routines

What you''ll bring:

• Deep hands-on SAP Finance/Controlling master data experience in S/4HANA or ECC-to-S/4HANA environments
• Strong finance fluency across R2R, FP&A, statutory/management reporting, controls, and close execution
• Prior experience shaping or leading a Finance MDG function in a complex, multi-entity environment
• Comfort operating without native SAP MDG, using ticketing tools like ServiceNow for governance and auditability
• Credibility to influence Finance, IT, deployment teams, and outsourced providers

Nice to have: S/4HANA go-live/hypercare experience, BPO/offshore model exposure, SOX/ICFR familiarity.
