PeopleSoft Functional Technical Consultant

About the Role: This is a senior-level position requiring a minimum of 12 years of experience, with at least 10 years dedicated to the Support, Maintenance, and Enhancement of PeopleSoft 9.1/9.2 systems. The role bridges the gap between complex technical development and core business processes in Supply Chain and Finance modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 (L2) and Level 3 (L3) technical and functional support for PeopleSoft modules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues to ensure system stability.
• Design, develop, and document Customizations using PeopleTools.
• Oversee the end-to-end development and testing of technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with business users to translate functional needs into technical specifications.
• Lead and mentor development teams, ensuring seamless Offshore-Onsite handoffs.

Essential Skills:

• Deep expertise in PeopleTools: Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interface, and Structured Query Reports (SQR).
• Strong business process knowledge in Procurement, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, and Cost Accounting.
• Proven track record in Application Support and Production Troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for direct business interaction.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in Technical Leadership and team mentoring.
• Advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade methodologies.
• Expertise in Cost Accounting flux analysis within PeopleSoft.
