Role Overview

Location: Atlanta, GA
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Remote with required onsite visits 1 2 times per month)
Employment Type: Contract
Interview Mode: Web Cam Only

Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Development: Design and implement robust ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Data Flows, and Mapping Data Flows.
Data Integration: Ingest and integrate data from diverse sources including SQL Server, Blob Storage, APIs, and various third-party systems.
Architecture & Maintenance: Develop and optimize data pipelines and data warehouses within the Azure ecosystem.
Monitoring & Optimization: Troubleshoot ETL jobs to ensure maximum data quality and performance while automating complex workflows.
Governance: Implement and uphold data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with analysts and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

ETL Expertise: 3+ years of ETL development experience, with at least 1 year of hands-on Azure Data Factory experience.
Azure Stack: 5+ years of proficiency in SQL, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Functions.
Data Transformation: 5+ years of experience utilizing Python, Databricks, or Power BI for advanced data transformation.
DevOps & CI/CD: 5+ years of experience with Git, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
Data Modeling: 5+ years of strong understanding of cloud architecture and data warehousing.
Agile: 4+ years of experience working within Agile methodologies (JIRA or Azure Boards).
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Certification: Required Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., DP-203, AZ-900).

Local Candidates Only: Applicants must reside within a commutable distance to Atlanta, GA, for monthly onsite requirements.
Availability: Must be able to start within 2 weeks of selection.
