As part of the team, you will serve as a technical pillar and force multiplier within a group of seasoned technologists solving high-stakes architectural, operational, and platform problems across the digital media lifecycle.
In this role as a Senior AI-Native Full Stack Software Engineer, you will own technical direction, architectural governance, and system-wide reliability across our enterprise
backend (Java and Kotlin Spring Boot microservices) and frontend (React and Typescript) ecosystems. You will spearhead our engineering evolution by establishing
robust patterns for integrating AI developer tooling into production workflows, raising the floor on code quality, and coaching peers. Crucially, this position demands mature
leadership grounded in intellectual humility, blameless post-mortems, transparent cross-functional partnership, and an open, egoless approach to driving technical consensus.
Areas of Responsibilities:
● Architectural Ownership & Systems Strategy: Drive the end-to-end design, technical roadmaps, and scalable implementation of distributed full stack systems, event-driven architectures, and domain-driven microservices across Java/Kotlin Spring Boot and modern React Typescript environments.
● AI Tooling Strategy & Developer Ergonomics: Lead the adoption and standardization of AI-assisted engineering practices (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor). Design team-level prompt harnesses, contextual rule frameworks, and automated evaluation steps that measurably accelerate delivery cycles while elevating quality standards.
● Human-in-the-Loop Governance & Quality Gates: Establish team-wide verification guardrails for AI-assisted outputs. Define policies that prevent hallucinated dependencies, detect subtle concurrency/security flaws, protect confidential studio IP, and enforce deterministic regression testing.
● Cross-Functional & Multi-Team Alignment: Partner as an authoritative, empathetic technical counterpart to Product Management, Technical Program Management, UX/Design, and Infrastructure/Cloud Engineering. Clarify ambiguous business goals and de-risk complex technical dependencies early.
● Technical Mentorship & Inclusive Culture: Lead by example through radical transparency, active listening, and blameless collaboration. Mentor mid-level and associate engineers, review high-impact system designs, and build a culture where dissenting opinions, questions, and learning from failure are actively welcomed.
● Modernization & Platform Evolution: Drive initiatives to modernize legacy frontend systems, optimize complex PostgreSQL and NoSQL data tiers, and continuously refine CI/CD automation pipelines within enterprise monorepo ecosystems.
Required Skills & Experience
● 5+ years of full stack software engineering experience designing, deploying, and operating high-throughput, enterprise-scale production applications.
● Deep backend architectural mastery building resilient, distributed services and APIs using Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot, leveraging clean architecture and Domain-Driven Design patterns.
● Advanced frontend expertise in modern React architecture (state management, component lifecycles, rendering optimization, shared component management) paired with the architectural vision required to refactor or sunset legacy codebases.
● Demonstrated AI-native execution & governance: Daily practical experience leveraging modern AI engineering agents. A proven track record of teaching others how to prompt effectively, structure context, manage token/context limits, and critically audit AI-generated logic for subtle edge-case failures and security vulnerabilities.
● Data architecture at scale: Extensive experience modeling, querying, indexing, and optimizing enterprise data workloads across relational stores (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL document systems (e.g., MongoDB, DocDB).
● Collaborative leadership & interpersonal competencies:
○ Demonstrated ability to build alignment across diverse viewpoints with high empathy, patience, and clear, respectful communication.
○ Culture-building mindset: eager to share knowledge freely, admit errors transparently, welcome alternative viewpoints, and give constructive, actionable feedback during architectural discussions and code reviews.
○ Proven capability to translate complex technical concepts and tradeoff analyses into clear guidance for non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
Desired Skills & Experience:
● AI developer tooling infrastructure: Experience authoring custom MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, building automated synthetic test generation tools, or integrating LLM evaluation pipelines into continuous integration.
● Monorepo & build engineering: Experience scaling enterprise Nx monorepos, optimizing multi-package build caches, and configuring modern build tooling (Gradle, PNPM, Nx).
● Enterprise frontend toolchains: Strong familiarity with Storybook design systems, Jest unit testing suites, and Cypress/Playwright end-to-end testing frameworks.
● Cloud & observability foundations: Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), Kubernetes/cloud deployment environments, and distributed tracing/monitoring platforms (Datadog, Prometheus).
● Domain agility: Familiarity with media supply chains, digital asset distribution, marketing strategy, or creative production pipeline concepts.
