Project Manager – Manufacturing Applications (.NET / SQL)

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of application development, enhancement, and support initiatives within a manufacturing technology environment. This role will be responsible for managing software projects involving enterprise applications, legacy system improvements, production support activities, and modernization efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing technology projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving successful delivery across development, business, and operational stakeholders. The Project Manager will serve as the bridge between technical teams and business leadership, ensuring projects are executed efficiently while meeting quality, timeline, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of application development, enhancement, and support projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocations.
• Partner with software developers, senior technical resources, business teams, vendors, and leadership to coordinate project execution.
• Facilitate project activities including requirements discussions, planning sessions, development coordination, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Prepare project dashboards, status reports, executive summaries, and presentations for various levels of management.
• Coordinate QA activities, user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and deployment readiness reviews.
• Manage project risks, change requests, action items, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
• Maintain project documentation and support established governance, compliance, and reporting processes.
• Organize project meetings, track decisions, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Escalate project blockers, technical challenges, and resource concerns when required.
• Ensure technology solutions align with business goals, operational needs, and manufacturing objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience managing software development, application delivery, or technology implementation projects.
• Proven experience leading projects involving .NET applications, SQL Server environments, or enterprise business applications.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), application release processes, testing methodologies, and change management.
• Experience managing application enhancements, maintenance initiatives, production support activities, and legacy system upgrades.
• Demonstrated ability to work with technical teams while effectively communicating with business stakeholders and executives.
• Strong experience creating project schedules, status reports, executive communications, and project documentation.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence teams without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, supply chain, production, or operations technology environments.
• Experience with manufacturing applications such as ERP, MES, WMS, or plant-level operational systems.
• PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, Agile, or related project management certification.
• Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
• Background managing application support, enhancement, and modernization initiatives.
• Exposure to cloud migration, digital transformation, or application modernization projects.
