Location: Mossville, IL (Hybrid)
Duration: 13 Months
Required Skills:
• 5+ years of Embedded C development experience
• Strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink
• Hands-on experience in RTOS-based embedded systems development
• Strong AUTOSAR Classic Platform experience including BSW and RTE interactions
• Experience in embedded software development, systems design, and product validation
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in robotics, autonomy, or remote-control systems
• Experience with CAN, Ethernet, CANape, Wireshark, etc.
• Strong Linux-based software development experience
• Experience with Git, debuggers, and compilers
• Experience with Qt framework/UI development
• Knowledge of FMEA and functional safety processes
• Experience in off-highway, industrial, agricultural, or heavy equipment domains
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded remote-control software systems
• Develop AUTOSAR-based applications using Embedded C and MATLAB/Simulink
• Create and maintain software requirements with system traceability
• Collaborate with system, hardware, and software teams across the SDLC
• Troubleshoot complex software/system issues and perform root cause analysis
• Develop and execute validation and verification test plans
• Support functional safety software design and validation activities
• Deliver production-ready embedded solutions with global engineering teams
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field is required
