Python Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong Python programming skills, experience with modern software development practices, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance software solutions using Python frameworks.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate applications with internal and external systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software engineering best practices.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, developers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and development processes.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Work with databases, data processing frameworks, and cloud-based services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployment processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Python development.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming language and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis is preferred.
• Experience with software development tools including Git, Jira, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of AWS services like Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
• Experience working with data engineering tools and frameworks.
