RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking a highly analytical HRIS/Workforce Analytics consultant to support a short-term, three-month project focused on UKG data analysis and complex overtime compliance reporting. This role requires advanced Excel expertise, strong understanding of how UKG functions, and the ability to quickly analyze and reconcile highly nuanced overtime scenarios. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for someone who can step in quickly, work independently, and deliver accurate, defensible analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
UKG & Workforce Data Analysis:
* Leverage UKG data to support advanced workforce and overtime analysis
* Interpret UKG outputs and reports to validate time, pay, and compliance scenarios
* Support UKG-related analysis (configuration or integrations not required)
Overtime & Compliance Analysis:
* Perform complex overtime analysis including: Daily vs. weekly overtime impact analysis; Adjustments related to missed or corrected rest break attestations; Reconciliation of time and pay changes and how they affect overtime calculations
* Ensure analysis aligns with Colorado state labor laws related to rest breaks and overtime
* Compare multiple reports and datasets to identify discrepancies and drivers
Advanced Excel Reporting:
* Build and maintain advanced Excel models and reports to support analysis
* Manipulate large datasets using advanced formulas, pivot tables, and lookups
* Improve efficiency and repeatability of analysis (VBA a plus but not required)
REQUIREMENTS:
* Advanced Excel skills (non-negotiable): Pivot tables, complex formulas, lookups (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), data reconciliation
* Strong analytical mindset with experience handling complex pay and time scenarios
* Hands-on familiarity with UKG: Understanding how UKG operates and how to extract and interpret data; No system configuration or integration work required
* Ability to ramp up quickly and deliver value in a short-term engagement
* High attention to detail and confidence working with compliance-sensitive data
Nice-to-Have Skills:
* VBA or automation experience to streamline Excel analysis
* Prior experience with: Overtime compliance analysis; Rest break or labor law-driven pay adjustments
* Leave of Absence (LOA) experience: Not required for this project, but could support longer-term opportunities
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
