The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a premier industry leader to identify a high-caliber technical expert to lead the modernization of an enterprise platform suite. In this hybrid capacity based in the Buffalo, New York area (four days on-site weekly), you will spearhead the migration of critical financial platforms to a modern cloud architecture. StaffRight Associates is managing this search on behalf of our client partner to secure a senior specialist who will drive technical execution, construct resilient digital applications, and guide engineering teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Architect and construct state-of-the-art web systems using modern front-end frameworks and back-end environments within cloud infrastructure.

  • Drive the complete software transition of legacy application suites over to modern web and microservices architectures.

  • Engineer enterprise middleware services to power seamless client self-service capabilities.

  • Champion technical clarity and strategic alignment through continuous engagement with product leaders and cross-functional engineering peers.

  • Synthesize intricate system criteria to craft scalable software foundations tailored for consumer financial platforms.

  • Direct and mentor junior engineering talent across project initiatives of varying scale.

  • Produce exhaustive technical specifications, system documentation, and quality validation plans.

  • Execute rigorous debugging, testing strategies, and quality assurance protocols to maintain software stability.

  • Evaluate cross-platform dependencies and integration boundaries across distinct application ecosystems.

  • Maximize delivery velocity by managing key project milestones and facilitating cross-departmental coordination.

What You Bring

  • Systems Analysis and enterprise application development background with 5+ years of hands-on experience.

  • React, JavaScript, and Java software engineering proficiency.

  • Java Microservices and Spring Boot Framework development expertise.

  • Azure Cloud Platform deployment and cloud-native software construction capabilities.

  • .Net Core and .Net API framework familiarity (preferred).

  • Application Architecture Migration experience transitioning systems from .Net and Angular to modern technology stacks.

  • Banking or Financial Services domain experience.

Compensation & Total Rewards

This W2 contract position (6 to 18-month engagement duration) offers a hourly baseline compensation rate of $70.00 – $74.00/hr.
