Job Details- Manage all aspects of civil litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery responses in state and federal court
- Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Handle mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences
- Develop and execute litigation strategy consistent with client goals
- Provide coverage opinions and risk analysis for insurers and corporate clients
- Represent clients in trial and appellate proceedings as needed
Qualifications:
- J.D. and licensed to practice in California (Nevada or Oregon a plus)
- Minimum 2 years of experience handling civil litigation matters
- Recent experience with any of the practice areas listed above
