Summary

Our client, a global specialist in energy management and automation solutions, is looking to hire a Cooling Controls Engineer. This is an onsite role based in Lancaster, NY.

This role is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits!

As a Cooling Controls Engineer, you will ensure security enablement across cooling control products, making sure security features are enabled within the development environment before products are released. Working directly within CAREL, PLC, and network management development platforms, you will write and modify code, implement security functionality, troubleshoot issues, and support products through testing and secure release.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Drive security enablement for cooling control products throughout the development and release lifecycle
  • Write, modify, and maintain code across CAREL, PLC, and network management platforms
  • Implement security-related changes and functionality within existing controls applications
  • Support the transition of products from development into release-ready configurations
  • Troubleshoot coding, controls, and integration issues arising during development

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant controls engineering, cooling controls, or controls software development experience
  • Hands-on experience developing and writing code within development environments (CAREL preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience developing and writing code within PLC environments
