Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Automation Engineer to design, develop, execute, and maintain automation solutions for software testing and validation activities. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Core Java, hands-on experience in test automation framework , familiarity with RDK-based platforms, and exposure to CI/CD tools. The candidate should also possess good analytical, troubleshooting, and basic triaging capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts.

• Design and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.

• Analyse test execution results and troubleshoot failures.

• Work closely with QA, Development, and DevOps teams to improve test coverage and automation efficiency.

• Track defects and test activities using Jira.

• Manage source code repositories and branching strategies using Git.

• Support validation activities on RDK-based devices and platforms.
• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and effort estimation.

• Linux fundamentals.

• Shell scripting basics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Exposure to Embedded Systems or Set-Top Box testing is an added advantage.

• Experience with RDK projects is highly preferred.
