Responsibilities:

As a Technology Architect, you will be architecturally responsible for analysis, design, code, and testing of multiple components of application code for multiple Texas Medicaid systems using CASE tools (CA Gen / AllFusion Gen / Cool:Gen). Involved in maintenance, enhancement and/or development work of modules and those that interface with other applications. Has a range of technical skills including CASE tool development, structured programming, and SQL. Combines technical skills with knowledge Texas Medicaid systems and business processes to develop effective solutions. As an architect sets direction for solutions and development plans as they impact the application. Significant client interaction and responsible for maintaining client relationships. Helps identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

15+ years of experience in application maintenance and/or development
15+ years of development experience in one of the following programming languages: CA Gen / AllFusion Gen / Cool:Gen,

15+ years of experience with Texas Medicaid
15+ years of experience with specific technical platforms including HP NonStop (aka NSK, Tandem)
15+ years of experience maintaining customer relationships
Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Good customer service skills
