Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Senior Developer with a strong background in the media and entertainment domain (e.g., Netflix, Amazon Prime, DirecTV). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, API-led integration solutions using the MuleSoft platform.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and develop robust API-led integration solutions using MuleSoft Integration Platform (Mule 3.x/4.x)
· Collaborate with business and application teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable integration architectures
· Perform end-to-end development lifecycle activities, including:
o Requirement analysis
o High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD)
o Effort estimation
o Development, testing, deployment, and hypercare
· Utilize MuleSoft components such as:
o API Manager
o Runtime Manager
o AnyPoint Studio
o CloudHub
· Implement CI/CD pipelines using MUnit, Maven, Jenkins, and Git
· Integrate MuleSoft with CRM/ERP systems and external applications via connectors
· Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
· Ensure high-quality documentation for development and support purposes
· Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and external stakeholders
· Design solutions with scalability, performance, and long-term sustainability in mind
Required Skills & Qualifications
· 10+ years of experience in the integration domain
· Strong expertise in MuleSoft Integration Platform (3.x/4.x)
· MuleSoft Certified Developer (Mule 4) – Mandatory
· Hands-on experience with:
o MuleSoft DataWeave
o API lifecycle implementation
o RAML, API Kit, and routing
o Exception handling and logging strategies
· Strong knowledge of SOA design principles and integration best practices
· Experience with web service technologies: REST, SOAP, HTTP, WSDL
· Proficiency in integration security:
o OAuth, OAuth2
o HTTPS, SSL
o WSSecurity, encryption, SAML
o Basic authentication
· Experience with Mule connectors and processors, including:
o HTTP, S3, Quartz, DataWeave, Logger, Expression
o FTP, SFTP, File, DB
o Salesforce, WMQ, MQ, JMS
· Hands-on experience with CloudHub deployment and management
· Familiarity with build and source control tools: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket (Stash), Maven, Jenkins
· Experience with MuleSoft monitoring and analytics tools
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in media/entertainment industry integrations
· Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work in cross-functional teams and lead discussions effectively
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
