Position : Python Full Stack
Location: Sunnyvale, CA / AUSTIN, TX
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Python Developer with hands-on experience in robotics to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in web development, backend systems, and robotics software integration, with the ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications that interact with physical hardware or simulated robotics environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain full stack applications using Python, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., Django/Flask + React/Vue).
- Integrate software components with robotic systems such as ROS (Robot Operating System).
- Create RESTful APIs to interface between web platforms and robotics control modules.
- Implement real-time data processing, telemetry dashboards, and control interfaces.
- Collaborate with mechanical/electrical engineers to ensure robust hardware-software integration.
- Participate in Agile development practices including sprints, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and optimize code for performance on embedded or constrained systems.
- Work with simulation tools like Gazebo, Webots, or PyBullet for robotic testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in full stack development using Python (Django or Flask) and JavaScript (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Experience working with robotics software (e.g., ROS, ROS2, OpenCV, SLAM, motion planning).
- Familiarity with microcontroller or embedded system integration (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Arduino).
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and real-time communication protocols.
- Experience with version control (Git), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid understanding of computer vision or machine learning libraries (nice to have).
