  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and controls issues directly on the production floor

Installation & Commissioning

  • Lead and support installation of new automation equipment in production

  • Support FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing)

  • Perform:

  • I/O checks

  • Motion validation

  • Safety system verification

  • Interlock and guarding validation

  • Support production ramp-up and process validation

  • Train operators, technicians, and maintenance teams on new equipment and systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation, controls, or manufacturing engineering
    (Electronics manufacturing experience strongly preferred)

  • PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent)

  • Strong working knowledge of:

  • Industrial sensors and actuators

  • Servo motors and motion control

  • Pneumatics and electro-mechanical systems

  • Industrial safety systems

  • Experience using CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent)

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot live production equipment

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced factory floor environment

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on robot integration experience (Fanuc, ABB, UR, or similar)

  • Experience with vision systems and automated inspection

  • Knowledge of SMT, PCBA assembly

  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles

  • Ability to use electrical diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope) and mechanical hand tools

Work Environment

  • Majority of time spent on the production floor

  • Direct interaction with live equipment, control panels, robots, and automation cells

  • Occasional weekend or off-shift support may be required during installs or production ramp-ups
