Baer is looking for SAP Embedded UX Consultant for a 3+ month Federal remote project.

Overview
The SAP Embedded UX Consultant will support the end-to-end business process as a member of the Embedded User Experience (UX) team. This role will translate RFS user and business needs into journey maps, process insights, change impact assessments, adoption recommendations, and readiness communications. The consultant will work closely with business, UX, technical, and delivery teams to facilitate working sessions, coordinate project-wide activities, and manage multiple time-sensitive deliverables.
Description:

• Support UX activities across the RFS end-to-end business process.
• Gather, analyze, and translate user and business needs into actionable UX and process recommendations.
• Develop journey maps, process flows, change impact assessments, and adoption strategies.
• Facilitate and support workshops, working sessions, stakeholder meetings, and UX activities.
• Coordinate with business, UX, technical, and delivery teams to align requirements and deliverables.
• Identify user impacts, readiness needs, process gaps, and adoption risks.
• Develop readiness communications, presentations, and stakeholder materials.
• Track action items, dependencies, decisions, and time-sensitive project deliverables.
• Support continuous improvement of user experiences and business processes.
• Contribute to Agile activities, including user stories, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and delivery coordination.
• Apply practical knowledge of afloat retail and afloat food service operations to support business and UX decisions.

Requirements:

• Experience managing competing priorities across business, UX, technology, and delivery teams.
• Ability to gather, analyze, document, and communicate user and business requirements.
• Practical knowledge or experience with afloat retail and food service operations.
• Experience in business analysis, UX, organizational change management, or process improvement.
• Experience developing process flows, journey maps, service blueprints, or similar UX/process artifacts.
• Experience with Navy financial management, supply chain processes, or Navy ERP.
• Prior service as a Food Service Officer, Supply Officer, or Galley/Supply Leading Chief Petty Officer is preferred.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and ERP transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices, including backlogs, sprint planning, user stories, and backlog refinement.
• Experience supporting user adoption, change management, organizational readiness, and time-sensitive project deliverables.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
