Summary

Purpose:

Acts as a team lead of a data and digital solutions engineering team and provides business support for the production systems for all business units. Leads in all phases of the system development life cycle.

Experience with hands-on requirements gathering and analysis, data modeling, development and implementation of data architectures including RDBMS and Data Lake House is required.
Experience with data integration involving databases and SaaS products utilizing APIs, file transfer, including ETL and ELT methods is required.
Experience in compliance with financial services in a regulatory environment and interactions with internal and external auditors is required.
Working knowledge of fixed income and derivative instruments, treasury, capital markets, and accounting knowledge is required.
Understanding of operating systems, application security configurations, and best practices in Windows and UNIX environment is required.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience:
Minimum 10 years of Data engineering and/or object-oriented programming while designing, proposing, documenting technology solutions.
Relational Database Management Systems, such as Oracle, including PL/SQL and expert SQL.
Amazon Web Services experience, including with RDS, Glue Databrew, S3, and Lake Formation
Diagnosing and resolving complex issues with banking/capital markets systems.
Developing functional and technical specifications for financial and/or accounting system (vendor or in-house) enhancements.
Scaled Agile / SAFe practices; Scrum master experience is a plus.
Experience in modern CI/CD tools and practices
Working experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular and Serverless Framework is desirable.
Designing, developing, and implementing web services in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a plus.
