Senior Workday Integration Developer

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Workday Integration Developer to join our HR Technology team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing Workday integrations across Human Capital Management (HCM), Benefits, Payroll, and Financial Management systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience delivering complex Workday integrations, supporting banking and payment interfaces, troubleshooting production issues, collaborating with business stakeholders, and driving integration best practices across a global Workday ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Integration Development

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations using:

• Workday Studio
• Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
• Core Connectors
• Cloud Connect
• Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs)
• Reports-as-a-Service (RaaS)

Benefits & Payroll Integrations

• Support integrations with benefit vendors, carriers, wellness providers, and payroll partners.
• Develop and maintain payroll-related integrations including PECI, PICOF, and custom payroll interfaces.
• Troubleshoot payroll and benefits data transmission issues and ensure timely resolution.

Financial & Banking Integrations

Develop and support financial integrations involving:

• Banking and settlements
• Payment processing
• Accounts Payable
• Treasury operations
• ISO 20022 payment files
• Vendor payment interfaces
• Partner with Finance and Treasury teams to support payment processing and regulatory requirements.

Technical Design & Data Transformation

Create and maintain integrations using:

• XML
• XSLT Barings-Corporate
• JSON
• REST APIs
• SOAP APIs
• Design scalable integration architectures and transformation logic.

Reporting & Document Generation

• Develop and maintain Workday custom reports and calculated fields.
• Support BIRT-based document generation for business and compliance requirements.

Production Support

• Monitor integration performance and proactively identify issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
• Participate in release planning, testing, and deployment activities.
• Maintain documentation and operational support procedures.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Treasury, and external vendors.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide guidance and recommendations on Workday integration best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. •
• 5+ years of Workday Integration experience.
• Strong experience with:

• Core Connectors
• Web Services (SOAP/REST)
• XML/XSLT
• RaaS

Hands-on experience supporting Benefits and Payroll integrations.

Experience developing Financials and Banking integrations.

Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.

Experience working with third-party vendors and external systems.

Strong analytical and communication skills.
