Technical Project Manager – SCADA

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager – SCADA to lead and manage projects related to SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems within the utility, energy, or industrial automation domain. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of SCADA systems along with proven project management experience delivering large-scale control system implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SCADA implementation, upgrade, and integration projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource planning.
• Oversee SCADA architecture, system integration, and deployment activities.
• Ensure integration with utility platforms such as ADMS, EMS, OMS, and other operational systems.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, cybersecurity requirements, and operational reliability.
• Prepare project documentation, status reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Lead testing phases including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and commissioning.
• Support post-implementation support and system optimization.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with SCADA systems and industrial control systems.
• Knowledge of SCADA protocols such as DNP3, Modbus, IEC 60870, OPC.
• Experience with PLC, RTU, HMI, and telemetry systems.
• Strong understanding of system integration and real-time data acquisition.
• Proven project management experience in technical or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Experience in Energy, Utilities, Power Grid, or Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience working with ADMS, EMS, or Grid Management systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
