Job Title : Google Cloud Platform Infrastructure and DevOps Expert

Location : New York / New Jersey

Duration : Long Term contract

Job Summary: A Google Cloud Platform Infrastructure and DevOps Expert designs, builds, and maintains secure, scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Terraform and CI/CD tools. They focus on automation, containerization (Kubernetes/GKE), monitoring, and reliability, optimizing cloud resources to balance performance with costs.

Qualifications:

Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps roles.
Google Cloud Platform Expertise: Strong experience with GCE, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM, and Networking.
Infrastructure Tools: Expert-level knowledge of Terraform.
Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes.
Scripting: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build.
Version Control: Git.
Should have Google Cloud Platform Certification.

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage Google Cloud Platform infrastructure (VPC, VMs, GKE, Cloud SQL) using Terraform or similar tools.
CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build) for rapid deployment.
Containerization & Orchestration: Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
Monitoring & Observability: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Google Cloud Monitoring/Logging (Stackdriver) or PrometheGrafana.
Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including IAM roles, network security, and compliance standards within Google Cloud Platform.
Automation & Scripting: Automate manual operational processes using Python or Bash.
Incident Management: Troubleshoot deployment failures and infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability.
