Job Title: Lead Agilist

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Pay Rate: $65/hour on W2

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Agilist to support Agile teams by fostering Scrum best practices, servant leadership, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will coach cross-functional teams, facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver high-quality business value. The ideal candidate has strong Scrum expertise, excellent coaching and facilitation skills, and a passion for building high-performing Agile teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Coach Agile teams on Scrum principles, Agile practices, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Partner with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs.
• Identify, remove, and escalate team impediments to ensure successful delivery.
• Foster collaboration, self-organization, and accountability within Agile teams.
• Track Agile metrics and promote data-driven process improvements.
• Mentor teams on Agile frameworks, DevOps practices, and software delivery best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align delivery with business goals and customer value.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of business experience with 3+ years of Scrum Master/Agile coaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile methodologies, and servant leadership principles.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
