Broadridge is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to provide deep technical expertise across application and infrastructure vulnerabilities. This role is responsible for securing network, infrastructure, and applications while leading complex security initiatives and influencing best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Implement, and maintain secure network and system architectures aligned with enterprise cybersecurity standards.
- Monitor application and infrastructure vulnerabilities and optimize configurations to meet operational objectives.
- Partner to remediate application security gaps and maintain baseline system security in applications and infrastructure.
- Maintain compliance with cybersecurity laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., PCI, PII, PHI).
- Administer servers, operating systems, virtual machines, directory services, and network devices.
- Integrate new security practices into existing enterprise architectures.
- Execute incident, event, and problem management procedures.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), security baselines, and system documentation.
- Apply risk management processes and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Produce cybersecurity instructional and awareness materials.
- Communicate complex technical and security concepts clearly to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to align security solutions with business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, network, systems engineering or application development.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise security initiative transformation programs.
- Operates with minimal guidance within functional policy frameworks and industry best practices.
- Experience implementing and managing security tools like WIZ, Tenable, CheckMarx, WhiteHat, etc.
- Experience implementing and managing encryption and key management solutions.
- Experience with virtualization and cloud security tools, including virtual machine security, hypervisor controls, and workload protection platforms
Preferred Certifications (Optional)
- Experience using security monitoring and analytics tool
- Cloud or virtualization certifications (AWS, Azure, VMware)
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNP/CCIE, Security+, CEH, or equivalent
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $150,000 - $180,000. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
