Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:
- Develop civil engineering designs for municipal engineering projects, residential developments, commercial site developments, street improvements, and utility infrastructure under the guidance of a Civil Engineer.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D software to create and modify designs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and surveyors to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepare cost estimates, evaluate design options, and propose solutions to meet project goals.
- Assist in producing and reviewing technical reports, design documents, and plans in compliance with regulations.
Contribute to project meetings and communicate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
Qualifications:
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred but not required.
- 0-5+ years of civil engineering project design experience, focusing on residential development, commercial development, and municipal engineering projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D software for civil engineering design and drafting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate design alternatives and propose effective solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles related to utility infrastructure, grading, and roadway design.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines.
- A commitment to high-quality design and precision, ensuring all plans meet client expectations and regulatory standards.
