About the RoleWe are seeking an intermediate-level Network Engineer to support the deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of our enterprise network infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone experienced with rack and stack, hardware installation, and working with Cisco and/or Aruba technologies. You'll work with a collaborative engineering team to ensure our network remains secure, scalable, and high performing.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct rack and stack of network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless equipment.
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco and/or Aruba networking platforms.
- Support day-to-day Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Perform network lifecycle management, including:
- Hardware refresh planning and execution
- End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS) evaluations
- Firmware and OS upgrades
- Asset tracking and equipment decommissioning
- Assist with network monitoring, alerting, and reporting using tools like SolarWinds or PRTG.
- Participate in cabling projects and ensure proper labeling, documentation, and cable management.
- Support migrations, new deployments, and infrastructure expansion initiatives.
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration records, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with tenured engineers on project planning and network design improvements.
Required Qualifications- 2-5 years of experience in network engineering or related IT infrastructure work.
- Hands-on experience with rack and stack, physical installation, cabling, and equipment turn-up.
- Working knowledge of Cisco and/or Aruba switching and routing technologies.
- Understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, routing protocols, wireless fundamentals).
- Ability to perform intermediate-level network troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with network monitoring platforms.
- Comfortable working in data centers/server rooms and lifting hardware.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $54.00/hr.
