Infrastructure Administrator

Description

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Administrator to join our dynamic team in Mankato, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of IT systems across multiple business locations. This position requires a hands-on approach to managing hardware, software, and network connectivity while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and oversee IT infrastructure projects, ensuring smooth execution and successful installation of upgrades and solutions.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and install hardware and software to support users and critical systems across multiple locations.
Configure, monitor, and resolve issues related to network connectivity and server equipment, including on-site and remote systems.
Research and recommend innovative technologies to enhance security, streamline processes, and improve infrastructure capabilities.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT policies, procedures, and system operations.
Act as a point of escalation for technical challenges, providing support to both local and remote users.
Collaborate with stakeholders and IT team members to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Travel to various company sites to manage infrastructure setups, hardware deployments, and troubleshooting as needed.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in troubleshooting PCs, network connectivity, and hardware components.
Strong expertise in Cisco Networking and Windows System Administration.
Proficiency in VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
Familiarity with Citrix technologies and remote desktop environments.
Solid understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft Windows Server.
Experience with backup and storage systems.
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across diverse endpoints, operating systems, and networking technologies.
Willingness to travel regularly to support infrastructure across multiple sites.
