Position Overview
The selected candidate will provide outstanding customer service while identifying, implementing, and supporting technology solutions across core business functions. This role will serve as the primary IT lead for a designated office location and collaborate with IT leadership and teams across other sites to support the broader technology strategy. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing external service providers and vendors, while also being hands-on in delivering direct support to end users.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site IT support for users, including troubleshooting, access management, and coordination with centralized IT operations.
  • Lead budget planning, cost control, and resource allocation for local IT initiatives.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for technology solutions.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with third-party vendors to ensure timely, cost-effective, and scalable IT solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Maintain configuration management processes for enterprise systems.
  • Support cloud infrastructure and SaaS adoption, ensuring compliance, security, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure cybersecurity policies and practices are implemented and monitored across systems.
  • Support compliance with industry regulations, data integrity standards, and validation requirements. Provide IT support for audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions.
  • Manage enterprise IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, system integrations, and cloud migrations, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership, including infrastructure, enterprise systems, and business partnership.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as life sciences or biotechnology is preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technology initiatives and governance processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budget management and cybersecurity oversight.
  • Strong commitment to integrity, accountability, and collaborative teamwork.
