Position Summary:
We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Data Scientist to support a Utility sector client in delivering high-impact data initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in project implementation, project management, proof-of-concept (POC) development, and hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs). This role involves building scalable AI/ML solutions and showcasing product capabilities to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support end-to-end project implementation for data science initiatives within the utility domain.
Develop and deliver Proof of Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate feasibility and business value.
Design, build, and optimize solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced machine learning techniques.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and client stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions and analytical models.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communication.
Conduct product demonstrations and showcases to highlight AI/ML capabilities.
Document methodologies, technical architecture, and implementation processes.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Experience working with utility clients (energy, power, water, etc.) preferred.
Strong experience in project implementation and project management.
Hands-on experience developing POCs for AI/ML solutions.
Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) (e.g., GPT, open-source LLMs, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, RAG frameworks).
Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex solutions to business stakeholders.
